Pre-Sales Technical Lead

An exciting and unique opportunity to be at the centre of the Commercial team in a fast-growing AI business in the iGaming industry. You will work with the commercial team to define implementation pathways for our cutting-edge AI products for new and existing clients. Your role will be to work with client and internal teams to identify the most impactful use cases for our products and guide clients through the steps needed to work with our products 

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the unique opportunity in this role is to be at the centre of building a Commercial team that is at the heart of one of the fastest-growing and exciting businesses in the iGaming industry. You will have high levels of autonomy to work across Client Management, New business development and Marketing to establish best practice operational processes and contribute to the Commercial strategy of the business.  You will be a key Future Anthem team member, helping define and grow an inclusive and fun culture 

Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre sales process with clients, you must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users. You provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers' technical and business requirements prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting the sales team and account managers on proposal activities.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing client briefs across Sports, Casinos (Operator & Studios), Bingo, & Lotteries to identify winning strategies through the identification of the easiest and most impactful route to improve the player experience 
  • Work with Product Managers to provide feedback on issues with current products and provide input around new products 
  • Lead the Product and Technical tracks within our sales process through the facilitation of sessions with clients to identify have to onboard data and to identify how to integrate Anthem outputs directly or through our partners 
  • Contributing to account planning to ensure client retention and growth by articulating the nearest opportunities to deliver player impacts 
  • Engaging with partners to align their platforms and products with our product offering 
  • Providing thought leadership and supporting marketing efforts to simplify our messaging and clearly articulate our value proposition for existing and new products 
  • Responsible for handover to Commercial Management and onboarding delivery teams of scope of the sales 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to input into commercial go-to-market plans for new product launches 
  • Support the CCO and Commercial Operations Manager in the commercial discovery of new revenue opportunities, defining market needs, identifying total addressable markets, modelling commercial benefits and presenting to the Leadership team 
  • Preparation of client-facing materials such as reports, sales decks or educational presentations 

About You 

  • You are a true product leader with demonstrable experience across many product areas that demonstrates your curiosity and adaptability 
  • You have previous pre-sales experience in a technical role  
  • You have experience connecting two technical environments, preferably in real-time or at least in batch  
  • You have knowledge of Kafka, Cloud Platforms and Data  
  • Previous experience with Schemas is an advantage  
  • You enjoy working with a diverse range of people and are confident communicating verbally through presentations and workshops and in written form (requirements & scope documents) 
  • You thrive working across a wide variety of product areas – experience across Casinos & Sports a big plus 
  • You enjoy understanding problems and identifying solutions that encompass people, technology and process 
  • You have a strong understanding of the commercial objectives of the business, and you prioritise your efforts autonomously 
  • Effective time management skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines 
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Remuneration: Competitive + Commission
